As the lead designer spearheading this project, I am involved in both strategy and design, aiming to reintroduce a missing touchpoint following the MyFitnessPal divestiture. Our goal is to reignite user engagement through a revitalized weekly workout summary email. This comprehensive process involves thorough research, strategy refinement, multiple iterative phases, finalizing designs on Figma, seamless handoffs and internal user testing before the initial launch. Excitingly, Phase 1 has already connected with over 1.5M MapMy users.
In the process of refreshing the visual elements of the running challenge screens, I took charge of redesigning the Peloton Graphic. This redesign was geared towards aligning its visual appeal with the overall aesthetic. The ask was to offer users a clear and engaging representation of their individual standing amidst athletes participating in the challenge.
I collaborated with key members of the BEAT (Black Employees Achieving Together) leadership team to create an internal workout challenge leading up to Juneteenth. I led and created the visual assets and played a role in shaping the strategy. This two week challenge was emphasized celebrating physical activity with a focus on fostering self-love and prioritizing self-care through movement.
